    Register to attend the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources Biosecurity Legislation Information Sessions

    The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources will host a series of dedicated Biosecurity Legislation Information Sessions across Australia throughout March and April 2016.

    The free Information Sessions will provide an overview of the implementation of the new legislation and explain how the new Biosecurity Act 2015 may affect your industry from commencement.

    Senior Executives and Subject Matter Experts from the department will deliver detailed information that will be of interest to a broad range of stakeholders on legislation topics including: Import Pathway, Approved Arrangements, Conditions and Permits, Enforcement/Fit and Proper Person requirements, Ballast Water, Installations, Governance and Review and Human Health subjects.

    The Biosecurity Legislation Information Sessions will be an accredited activity under the Department of Immigration and Border Protection’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Scheme for licensed Customs Brokers. Eligible sessions have been accredited three CPD points in Stream A by the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources and are marked with reference codes on the department’s Biosecurity Legislation Information Sessions webpage
